Who can benefit from Coaching?

Anyone can benefit from Coaching. For whatever reason, the person has come to a point where they need to make changes that will enable them to become more active and more in control. Together, the person and their coach will assess Personnel strengths and shortfalls and learn how to maximise their strengths to become more in control and productive.

What sort of issues would a coach help a person overcome?

People tend to seek help from a coach for various reasons, some of which could be.

 ADHD/ ASD and Coaching

Coaching individuals with ADHD/ ASD clearly explain how their condition impacts their daily lives. Your coach will build motivation and provide regular progress monitoring and constructive feedback. Feedback leads to increased awareness of progressing through Coaching, and additionally, individuals with ADHD / ASD can find Coaching beneficial for social skills and life skills management.

Because individuals with ADHD / ASD think in the 'here and now and find it incredibly challenging to plan, one of the critical roles of Coaching would be to include structure, think ahead, organise, and build a framework to deal with daily aspects of forthcoming events.

Individuals need to learn how their condition affects their daily lives; understanding can be robust. Many people with ADHD /ASD do not understand why they act and react poorly to situations that others would deal with more productively and without much fuss.

People with ADHD / ASD Have additional issues other than overreacting. In such situations, considering what outcome would be more productive would be worth considering. Coaching is compelling for many people, but for ADHD / ASD, it is parament as it is one of the many tools that help people develop their unique strategies and take them through positive change.

Two of the strategies used to deal with problems (organisation)

•        Setting alarms on your phone as reminders of tasks or jobs that need completing.

•        Using a diary each day will also aid and support short-term memory.

These are just two strategies that can bring the organisation to the day.

We would work on minimising negative, destructive thinking by changing the mindset to positive, productive thinking, helping self-esteem, and promoting social interaction and awareness skills.
